Products and services

Ship emissions: SICK’s MARSIC reliably measures emissions on ships according to MARPOL Annex VI and MEPC.259(68). Type-approved for this application it measures both SOx and CO2 upstream and downstream of the scrubbers, and NOx upstream and downstream of SCR (selective catalytic reduction) plants. It can also be used for process measurements such as CH4 in LNG (liquefied natural gas) and dual-fuel engines.

The MARSIC300 has approvals and certifications from six classification societies (DNV GL, ClassNK, Bureau Veritas, ABS, CCS China Classification Society, KR), thereby boasting the most approvals and certifications of any such device. This makes it the most recognized emission measurement system on the market.

Baggage tracing: Everything runs perfectly with SICK sensors and technologies ‒ be it new installations or upgrades of existing systems, or an automated bag drop system, a redundant identification system in the sorting process or an arrival reading gate.

MARSIC: Rugged design and high level of measurement accuracy for

• Low costs due to minimum maintenance requirements
• No expensive test gases thanks to its internal drift correction
• Multiple measurement points with just one analyzer
• High levels of availability and reliability
• Assemblies that are easy to replace during servicing
• Servicing support is available globally
• Quick access to expert support with remote maintenance
