Founded in 1824 as a supplier for the vast north German shipping industry, the Gleistein group today not only services the cordage needs of international cruise shipping and other commercial marine operations, it is also highly successful in the area of recreational marine and for industrial applications. Its state-of-the-art production facilities at its headquarters in Bremen, Germany, and subsidiary in Trencin, Slovakia, boast a combined area of more than 19,000m2 and are both certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.
