D-NPS.SP - davit of normal pivot type for rescue boat
The docking head will prevent the boat from swinging until lowered by rope only.
With the full complement of persons the boat is launched from the stowed position to the water level. Hydraulic “stored power" will luff the davit to lowering position, gravity will do the lowering. Both motions can be controlled from either the deck position or from inside the boat.
D-NP.SP - davit of normal pivot type, semi-gravity driven with hydraulic stored power (accumulator-loaded)
The system operates on hydraulic stored power in addition to gravity lowering and electrical hoisting of the boat.
Davits are suitable for bringing a boat, with crew, from the stowed position to the launching position by means of the stored power system and gravity. After embarkation, the system will lower the fully boarded boat from the launching position to the water level by means of gravity with the speed required by the rules.
D-RC – slewing type davit for liferaft handling, with manual/electrical drive
The system is suitable for launching by gravity and recovery of liferafts, including complete equipment and launching crew, by electric or manual drive. In case of multi-raft handling, the winch drum has a special “quick return" function for fast hoisting of the empty hook.
