Since the first stabilizing systems manufactured in 1961, it has been SKF’s DNA to increase performance while minimizing energy consumption. A recent demonstration of this innovation pace is the SKF Steel finbox cover which significantly reduces the drag of the stabilizers and therefore the hull resistance. Another way to reduce costs and reach sustainability goals is to eliminate the need of replacing oil.
